I am compelled by the potential of a second life in my visual works as they are recast and translated into the digital realm, becoming dynamic sources for the creation of patterns. In part, my interest in pattern evolved as I explored sustainability strategies, but I have been fascinated by the potency of pattern through cultural and fashion resources for most of my life.

The digital realm allows me to engage in the creation of digital patterns without restraining the visceral, physical methods I use in creating visual experiences and expressions. It is in fact the presence of energy, complexity, and organic identity within the formal structure of these patterns that I find compelling.
